The Ajou University Students' Union organized a fascinating and informative trip to the ancient and unique cities of Uzbekistan – Samarkand and Bukhara.
In Samarkand, the students visited the following famous historical sites:
• Imam al-Bukhari Mausoleum
• Bibi-Khanum Mosque
• Shah-i-Zinda Complex
• Registan Square
The trip continued to Bukhara – one of the country's most famous historical centers, whose historical wealth is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here, the students saw some of the city's most recognizable landmarks: the Ark Fortress, the Poi-Kalyan Complex, the Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble, the Samanid Mausoleum, and Chor-Minor.
This trip allowed students not only to admire the unique monuments of Samarkand and Bukhara but also to gain a deeper understanding of the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan's ancient cities.
