A ceremony was held at the university to confer the title of Honorary Professor on His Honor, Ambassador of Malaysia to Uzbekistan, Mr. Ilham Tua bin Illias, for his significant contribution to the development of cultural dialogue between the two countries, as well as to the expansion of educational cooperation and exchange of experience between universities in Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
The Rector of Ajuh University in Tashkent, Professor G.A. Muratov, presented the award during the Uzbek-Malaysian Cultural Evening.
